Contact any member to place your order for smoked meats, cookie dough and or butter braids.

Smokin’ Pork Butts: $25.00, Slab of ribs $20.00, Turkey (14-16 lbs) $30.00 and 1/2 chickens $5.00-must have order placed by November 11, 2011-to be smoked and picked up or delivered November 19, 2011

Butterbraids/carmel rolls- Apple, Cherry, Cinnamon, Cream Cheese, Raspberry or Carmel Rolls- $11.00 each

Cookie Dough- Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter or White Chocolate Macadamia Nut-$14.00 each

SMILE on Down Syndrome Buddy Walk 2007

This past weekend we were sponsors of the SMILE on Down Syndrome Buddy Walk with contributing over $2600.00 for that cause while hosting our second annual golf scramble for the Alzheimer’s Association followed up with an all nighter Party Like a Pirate Luau with The Whaleshark from Lahina, Maui.

Lots of hours spent together for a cause and grateful as possible for the 16 members of the SIPHC joining us for both and helping us raise $1600.00 for Alzheimer’s. We will add this total to the Memory Walk later this month.

Seems like all of our events run right on top of each other but we survive them and take a deep breath to recover and start all over again.

Happy fall to all those gearing up for their trip to the Keys where I wish I was going to be.

For efforts above & beyond the call of duty, the PHiP Board is pleased to present the Bravo Zulu Award to Ms. Whitney Kissel & Parrot Heads of the Lower Ohio Valley.

As a young chapter, this small band of gypsies in the palace tackled their recent Relay For Life event with a vengeance, determined to make an impression and embody the “Spirit of the Great Heart.”

With a number of members putting in a 16+ hour day, the club was awarded “Gold” status, reserved for those groups raising more than $5000, they were third in money raised with a total of $5350, and they finished second in the Best Campsite contest with their tropical theme.

On behalf of the entire “ParrotHead Nation” congratulations and thank you … Y’all did us all proud!!
